Unnatural pool. It is here that Akamas is said der a rock over having a cool spring emerges from the rocks and pours into a natural pool. It is here that Akamas is said to have caught Aphrodite unawares as she was bathing naked the goddess is supposed to have fallen in love with the simple minded voyeur. Others however, say that the location of this mythical event was an altogether different spring in the far west of the peninsula. Whichever of the two the fontana amoroza is, those who drink from it are supposed to fall head over heels in love with the next person they see.
